Simple, unusual, grand (water colour)

I found a calendar with amazing paintings of Bireshwar Sen, a renowned Bengali Painter from the last century. I was so inspired that I had to attempt a few of these just for learning purposes. I loved using the washes in unusual colours. Of course, his originals are many times better than mine! What's good here is all due to him, all things wrong are my creations. Hope you like these.

Sunset like this, is one of the most amazing sights to see if you are trekking in Himalayas. So far I have only seen photographs, but one day I hope to see this with my own eyes! When nature decides to create a show, no mortal can match it.

This is another version of my December painting titled "no boundaries". I gifted the first version to a dear friend who stays in London. This one is bit looser and wetter!
